All forms of life contain carbon. This series is a celebration of that. Though carbon may play a dichotomizing role among political discourse and environmental debate, it serves as a fundamental building block of life itself. The extravagance of a flower in full bloom or the functionality of the curious creature, each example of life has its beauty and very rarely is it inanimate. These photos seek to isolate, simplify and enhance these lifeforms as a celebration of all things born objectively great from carbon. In vivid color or dynamic detail, the goal is simply to appreciate the little things.
